    众所周知，随着中国艾滋病防治工作的不断深入，在这个领域开展工作的组织已经越来越多。各个机构都迫切需要了解其它相关机构的情况以及联系方式。“HIV/AIDS 组织名录/通讯录”项目的主要目的就是为了加强整个艾滋病防治工作领域内各组织之间的沟通和了解，促进各个组织、机构和政府部门工作经验的分享。

    2006年，由福特基金会提供资助，并且在卫生部、中国CDC及联合国艾滋病规划署等国内外机构的大力支持下，中国艾滋病资讯成功开发了《2006/2007中国艾滋病名录》，并且免费提供给了数百个相关的政府部门、研究机构和民间组织，累计发放数千册。有效地推动了各组织之间的信息交流和经验分享，为很多机构的工作提供了便利，受到了广泛的欢迎。

    近两年来，名录中的很多组织都有了相当大的发展；同时，更多的新兴组织开始积极参与中国的艾滋病防治工作。为了方便大家充分了解这些进展，中国艾滋病资讯正在福特基金会的资助下，对名录进行更新和修订，以方便大家的使用，帮助各个机构更好地开展工作。

    附件中有一张关于您在HIV/AIDS领域的项目和工作的简单问卷。请您在百忙之中抽出时间填写问卷，帮助各方了解贵组织或项目负责人的通讯信息和项目信息等(请在2008年2月22日前寄回来)。如果贵组织已经收录在《2006/2007中国艾滋病名录》里面，还请您抽出时间核对附件里的内容是否需要更新。十分感谢。

Directory of groups working on HIV/AIDS – 2007-2008 Update 

Dear Colleagues,

As the number of different agencies and groups working on HIV/AIDS in China continues to grow, there is an increasing need for communication and coordination within the community. In order to facilitate this sort of communication and improve all of our ability to work effectively, we are producing an updated version of the “Directory of groups working on HIV/AIDS in China” for 2008.

Attached please find a brief questionnaire about your organization and its HIV/AIDS-related activities in China. Please take a few minutes out of your busy day to fill out this form and return it as soon as possible (Before 22 February 2008). For those of you whose organizations were listed in the previous edition, please update and revise that earlier information and return the electronic form to us. Only with all of your participation and help will this directory be a success.

This Directory project has received the financial support of the Ford Foundation and is being produced by China AIDS Info. It is our hope that this resource will improve information sharing and cooperation between NGOs, government departments, People living with HIV/AIDS, and any other interested groups.  The 2008 Directory will as always be made available free of charge, and will be available in both electronic format (CD-Rom) and printed version, as well as being available online in a searchable format.
