Since the establishement of special column for 2007 World AIDS Day in China HIV/AIDS Information Network (CHAIN), we have received 60 activity plans from the grass-root organizations all over the country.

　　After carefully reviewing all proposals submitted through CHAIN, UNAIDS and CHAIN have identified some activities to support. The coverage of population and geography, and if the organizations were funded by UNAIDS last year are factors we considered in selecting proposals.

　　The whole budget is 83,500RMB for this project, that is specifically to used to support community based organizations to organize World AIDS Day activities, ie awareness campaign, PLWHA supports and patient education. 14 plans among 60 are identified, covering 11 provinces (city). The list of the implementers is as follows. UNAIDS and CHAIN are hoping, by implementation of these World AIDS Day activities, the theme of 2007 WAD can be promoted.
