MSI Program Manager - UNFPA Country Program 6, RH/FP Component
Marie Stopes International is an internationally renowned UK-based NGO specializing in reproductive health (RH) implementation and management. MSI is a global network of more than 40 partner programs around the world. MSI, through its regional office in Australia (MSIA), has been working in China since 1998, as an Implementing Partner for UNFPA's Reproductive Health and Family Planning output, which aims to assist the Government of China move towards a client-centred, integrated reproductive health and family planning program and services. MSI works closely with the National Population and Family Planning Commission, the Ministry of Health and related institutions and provides monitoring, project management and technical assistance. As this program has had a high profile internationally, it requires execution at the highest possible standard.
As MSI's Beijing-based CP6 RH/FP Program Manager you will assist in the execution and monitoring of this program, working from MSI China's office in Beijing, reporting to the Senior Program Support Manager at MSIA in Melbourne.

· commitment to personal development | to undertake program management and technical assistance for the UNFPA CP6 Reproductive Health and Family Planning output such that MSIA fulfills its program responsibilities and commitments and meets or exceeds the expectations of stakeholders.
Specifically your objectives are to: ·support partners in the development of implementation strategies, annual work plans, annual progress reports and design of specific activities; ·provide and/or source quality technical and capacity building assistance in agreed areas to program partners ·ensure coordination and coherence of technical components and strategies across program partners ·support partners in policy analysis and policy development to help achieve program outputs ·ensure comprehensive and timely management of the program ·ensure regular monitoring and reporting of the program in close consultation with UNFPA ·ensure close consultation and communication with MSIA and UNFPA at all times, identifying key issues and potential problems.
To succeed in this role you will be highly motivated, analytical and results oriented, have exceptional program and financial management skills, can work effectively in a cross-cultural environment, and have strong communications skills.
