NEW DELHI, April 21 (Xinhua) -- A 32-year-old HIV positive man committed suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of the Guru TeghBahadur Hospital in east Delhi, according to The Indian Express on Monday.

Rajkumar Gupta was admitted to the hospital on April 13 and doctors detected that he was HIV positive.

Gupta was reported missing from his ward late Saturday night. His body was found lying on the ground in the hospital premises Sunday morning.

Gupta, a resident of old Seemapuri, is survived by his wife and two children. His body was sent for post-mortem examination.

"The probable cause of suicide was mental depression and frustration," said a senior police official.
